I worked on EcoEats, a food ordering app designed to make it easier for people to order from local restaurants while also making more eco-friendly choices. My goal with EcoEats was to rethink the typical food delivery experience. I wanted to offer something that feels familiar and easy to use, but with an added layer of responsibility—making it simple for people to support local businesses and make greener choices with every order

One of the toughest parts was finding the right balance between convenience and sustainability. I had to make sure the app felt just as fast and reliable as bigger delivery services, but with extra features like eco-friendly restaurant filters and clear information on how each order helps reduce waste. Getting all the tech to work together smoothly, especially the delivery tracking and restaurant listings, took a lot of troubleshooting and patience

The Result
The finished app is something I’m really proud of. EcoEats feels modern and easy to use, and it’s built to make a real difference—whether that’s by cutting down on single-use plastics or helping local restaurants reach more people. The feedback so far has been great, and I’m excited to see how it can keep growing and inspiring more sustainable habits
